Aura Studios

Aura Studios comprises of two symbiotic areas, Aura Audio and Aura Visual, which offer a range of opportunites to students and the general public.

Aura Audio Studios is a newly refurbished professional audio recording facility, located in a £1.2 million, purpose built Media Centre within Loughborough Student's Union. The studio is equipped with Pro Tools HD, 16 Channel Mixer, and an array of high quality microphones. We supply our own recording engineers, and offer training for anyone who wishes to get involved with the studio.

The studio is also available as a rehearsal facility, offering a Pearl drum kit, Yamaha Clarinova Piano, 2 x Marshall guitar amp and Line 6 bass amp.

We have the following prices for the Aura Audio side of the studios

Media/Musoc member - £9 ph
Student - £10 ph
General Public - £12 ph

PA Systems
(we have 3 seperate systems that are available for hire)
£25 per day
£5 per mic

Aura Visual utilises our state-of-the-art, broadcast quality facilities and experienced media professionals to help you to deliver your message with maximum impact. We customise our services to your individual requirements from a hall video to sports team promo.You an also hire our equipment from a High Definiation Handy Cam to brand new Sony Z7 HD Cameras to film your footage and then have us edit down to a final product.
