The clubs main focus is getting yer bum in a boat and getting on with it! All standards (or non at all) are welcome. The warm waters of the EIS pool are home to our twice weekly pool sessions (Tuesday 9pm - 10pm & Thursday 8pm - 10pm). Ideal for learning in and practicing new skills, there's even room for some cartwheels! Also included in the membership is weekly polo training in a local pool on a Monday evening, plus access to dry side training machines (non compulsory!!)

We try and cater for absolutely everybody, and attempt disciplines from play boating and freestyle to wild water racing, and not to mention canoe polo. We attempt to structure some pool sessions, to ensure your abilities and skills increase as fast as possible, so you can get the most out of the sport.

The club has a massive array of nearly 50 kayaks with a few canoes thrown in to boot, giving boats for every discipline, all available for your use. All the necessary kit is available for your use (again all included in your membership), so there's no need for initial expenses. We have all levels of paddlers from the complete beginners to GBR, so the club really is open to all without discrimination by ability. We can train from absolute beginner through to 4* and beyond with both the clubs huge knowledge base, and local BCU coaches.

We have a great social front, with dates for your diary filling all those gaps in the year ahead! We are a light hearted bunch, and have a great laugh, and always enjoy a good 'Hey Ewe' (the union's Wednesday night sports club event). There is never any pressure, if you don't want to do something, or have even an ounce of self respect, we won't make you!
