Socials
Well we tried to lay out a few definite dated socials, for your diaries, but there will be loads more added to this throughout the year. Be it trips out on the town, days out go-karting, or climbing. Coach trips on a night out in Nottingham, Whatever! Not even mentioning the weekly Hey Ewes as we hope to see you there every week! If you want to suggest an idea, speak to our secretary at a pool session, as she has the fun task of organising it all!

Welcome Meeting - Tuesday 10th October 2006 - 7pm - CC.0.13
It's absolutely vital you come to this meeting, no matter what else you miss this term, please don't miss this! Apart from welcoming all the new faces, there are a handful of things we need to go through with you, plus it's the sign up for Barrow loop too! Once all the formalities are out the way we'll troop up the hill to EHB for a quietish drink or two, whilst we get to know the new faces! We'll meet in the James France lecture halls.

Fresher's Social - Wednesday 18th October 2006 - 8pm
If you have come to Loughborough, you should have at some point read about the amazing facilities the union has to offer for a night out. Well, the very best day is a Wednesday as "Hey Ewe" is on, which is a night specially for sports clubs, where the drinks are cheaper! So by now most of you will have met us in a sober state, but how about drunk? The best way to truly "welcome" the freshers into the fold. It'll be a great night, so please make the effort to come! Meet in EHB in Club T-shirts!

Halloween Social - Wednesday 1st November 2006 - 7.30pm
Yup, fancy dress is compulsory! ;o) Check out previous years photos for ideas! Meet in Towers Bar (EPB) for warm up and then on to Hey Ewe.

Paint Balling - Wednesday 15th November 2006 - 2.30pm
Chance to fire paint at your new friends in Leicester. Lifts to be sorted out nearer the time. Army themed social at 8pm in Towers Bar and then on to Hey Ewe!

Girls Vs. Boys - Wednesday 29th November 2006

Christmas Meal - Tuesday 12th December 2006
This really has to be a date to be kept clear in your diaries! This is the one "formal" of the first semester, so is a joyous opportunity to show everyone you are capable of being presentable if need be! Dress code is formal (for gents DJ's, for ladies frocks) and the location will be confirmed nearer the time. It's a Full 4 course meal out, followed by some after dinner entertainment at Vice-Versa for the rest of the night, and most importantly no speeches.

Ex Chair's Party - Saturday 10th March 2007
As is customary on the weekend of the Student Freestyle competition, the outgoing chair hosts a party, and basically concocts a decent punch, with the usual result of people puking all over the house and passing out!
