BUSA Cyclo-Cross Champs [Details and Directions]

Welcome to LSCC BUSA 2000 Track Champions! RACING The club has riders who compete in all disciplines. During the summer there is mid-week road racing at Mallory Park and numerous local road races. Off-road, there are local series for MTB in the summer. The Notts and Derby League provides top-class races for Cyclo-cross at the weekend during the winter. There is also a substantial time-trialing scene in the area.

The main events that the club focuses on are the National Championships for the respective disciplines and also the BUSA competitions. This year, in addition to the track champs, we have won Silver team medals in the hill-climb and Cyclo-cross championships and a whole host of individual medals.

Equipment The Club has a wide array of equipment from Track bikes to turbo trainers,just contact the Equipment Secretary and fill out a form.

Trips For the last four years we have sent teams to the Isle of Man International Cycling Week. We have also sent Off-Road excursions to Wales. There is a proposed Road/ Off-Road trip to Nantmwar in November and Coed y Brenin in May.

Keeping Bikes in Rooms Only LSCC members can keep bikes in the rooms. Forms can only be collected through the LSCC secretary. All forms have to be signed by the AU President, LSCC secretary / chairman and your Hall Supervisor. The bond for your room is now used by residential as insurance against any damage caused. All bikes have to be kept in commercially available bike bags. These are available through Leon at a price of £60.

Wednesday rides meet at the fountain at 1:30pm. Weekend rides 9am Saturday, 10am Sunday.
