I saw the item in Cycling Weekly - so my contribution from the (distant) past is as follows -

I was a member of the cycling club for two years in the mid-1960's and for a time was the club secretary - until my lack of academic results brought it to a premature end.

I do have just a few items of paper work from the time and some photos of both cycling and the college around that time. Some names of other cycling club members around 1965 were -

Ken Rischmiller, Dave Walker, Peter Bonfield (now Sir Peter - head of British Telecom), M L Cave (Mike?), M Figg, G Preston, M George and D Hatton amongst others.
